Dr. Debbie Berebichez is a physicist, TV host and STEM advocate. She is the first Mexican woman to graduate from Stanford University with a PhD in Physics, and she uses her education and background to make science approachable and appealing to a wide range of audiences. 

Debbie co-hosts Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science TV show (2012–present), where she uses her knowledge of physics to explain the science behind extraordinary engineering feats.

Debbie is currently working on the IMAX film Secrets of the Universe which will be narrated by star of the TV show The Big Bang Theory, Simon Helberg. 


Debbie co-hosts the Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science and regularly appears as an expert guest on CNN, NOVA and other TV shows. She's currently working on the IMAX film Secrets of the Universe.


As a speaker, Debbie offers informative, entertaining and inspirational talks about the wonders of science and how it changes everyday life. She’s presented talks at TED, DLD and numerous other venues and conferences.


Debbie considers it a privilege to be a role model for women and minorities who dream of becoming scientists and engineers. She runs workshops to promote diversity in talent and ideas for both schools and corporations.
